UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU HEAR
You have heard terms like AMH or IVF and do not know what to ask. This guide helps you understand the concept before a conversation with a professional.
You do not need an appointment or to be in treatment. Explanations are automatic; your individual situation is assessed during consultation.
AN EXPLANATION TO START WITH
In vitro fertilisation, or IVF, is an assisted reproduction technique in which an egg is fertilised outside the body, in a laboratory. The process usually includes ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, fertilisation and observation of embryos. An embryo may then be transferred to the uterus; other suitable embryos may be frozen. These stages do not guarantee pregnancy.
